Cooperative Systems has been named among the Best Places to Work in Connecticut. This fifteenth annual program was created by the Hartford Business Journal and Best Companies Group.
Prior to this year Cooperative Systems appeared on the list of Best Places to Work in Connecticut in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and last year, 2019. This is the seventh consecutive year that Cooperative Systems has been listed as an honoree!
This survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best employers in Connecticut, benefiting the state’s economy, workforce, and businesses. The list is made up of 41 companies split into two categories: 27 small/medium-sized companies (15-199 US employees) and 14 large-sized companies (200 or more US employees). Cooperative Systems been named one of this year’s Best Places to Work in Connecticut in the small/medium category.
In order to be considered, companies had to fulfill eligibility requirements:
– Be a for-profit, not-for-profit business, or government entity;
– Be a publicly or privately held business;
– Have a facility in Connecticut;
– Have at least 15 employees in Connecticut;
– Be in business a minimum of 1 year
Once those requirements are established companies enter a two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in Connecticut. The first part evaluates each company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second part suverys employees to measure employee experience. The combined scores determine rankings. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in Connecticut, analyzed the data, and determined those final rankings.
The ranked companies will be recognized at a special awards ceremony on February 27, 2020 and the actual rankings will be published on March 9, 2020 in the Hartford Business Journal. Keep an eye out!
