Jay Ryerse is responsible for driving cybersecurity initiatives at Connectwise, which currently influences the rest of the MSP market. He takes pride in educating other businesses and Connectwise’s partners about the danger of cyber risk.
With over 25 years of experience in cybersecurity, Jay has revolutionized information technology and security solutions to businesses of all sizes. Before serving as VP of Global Sales at Connectwise in 2019, Jay served as Chief Technology Officer of all security products at Continuum. He spearheaded cyber education and cybersecurity awareness all throughout Continuum’s partner community.
Jay is the author of a self-published book titled “Technology 101 for Business Owners.” He is also the 2014 recipient of MSPmentor.net’s “Industry 250 Executives” award and is recognized in the Top 501 MSP’s (#201). He is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Supervisory Special Agent| Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
Conor Phoenix has been with the FBI for over 23 years, initially serving as an Intelligence Research Specialist. He currently supervises the Cyber Squad of the FBI’s New Haven Field Office, working tirelessly to investigate and counter the nation’s most active cyber criminals and threat actors. His expertise in cybercrime enabled him to protect children across the country from predators using the internet, resolve cases of online fraud, and discover powerful viruses from overseas capable of damaging U.S. military data.
Along with tackling major cybersecurity threats to the nation and to his community, Conor devotes much of his time to spreading cybersecurity awareness using his experience in the real dangers of falling victim to a cyberattack. He readily gives presentations to local communities, schools, and universities about the dangers of the internet and how to protect yourself with healthy online etiquette.
Conor has a Doctorate in Law from William and Mary Law School, and a Bachelor’s in Political Science and Government from the University of Florida.
